Ito Kimae - Bio

Kimae Ito aka “Kim” or “Tails” was born in Nagano on the main Japanese Island of Honshu. Kimae means generosity and Ito means together. She moved to Tokyo to live with her grandfather, Hiroshi Ito when she was 3 after her parent’s death in a house fire.

The Ito family was of the Samurai class before Great War. Hiroshi trained his granddaughter in martial arts and in the weapons of the Samurai starting almost immediately after moving to Tokyo. She follows the edicts of Bushido also known as the five rings. They are Gi (Honesty), Yu (Courage), Jin (Compassion), Rei (Courtesy), Meyo (Honour), Makoto (Sincerity) and Chugo (Duty). She often exclusively celebrates and prays at the Namiyoke Inari Shrine in Tokyo since Inari is the Kami of Warriors. She became an accomplished martial artist competing around the world. With the money from the competitions, she put herself through college and became an E.R.T. While in college she was also on her Kendo team. Kim has the ability to pick up any Japanese weapon and use it proficiently. Due to her training, she is also able to withstand a lot and does not give up.

It was a Mixed Martial Arts competition that brought Kim permanently to the US. She was in her last bought in Madison Square Garden and was suddenly elsewhere in a battle with a Tengu and injured Kitsune. She battled the Tengu to save the Kitsune, a messenger of Inari. After the Kitsune killed the Tengu, Kim was transported back into reality in a bar in New York City near Madison Square Garden. There was a small British woman who was being attacked by a werewolf and Kim attempted to assist. It made the situation worse for both of them. Eventually Kim was able to call for help but she passed out from the ordeal. It was when she woke up, there were some strange men and she was given a location to go to in Alabama.

It was there she started to work for the I. B. P.H. She became concerned because there was no temple, so she built a shrine to Inari. Her routine is fairly simplistic. She up usually by 6am, visits the shrine, practices her Katas, eats breakfast, and then does anything that needs to be done for the day. She has learned about her new “gifts” from the Kistune. She permanently has 3 tails at the moment even though she started with 2. She is able to change form to a hybrid fox/human and uses this to her advantage. Due to her thick accent and a lack of the letter “L” in her native Japanese, she can often be hard to understand. She also did not continue English lessons in college, so she often has difficulty with the language and it’s idioms. She does use apps on her Ipad to help with her English.

Kim fell in love with fellow I.B.P.H member Eddie after a mission to Mexico. She did not intend on confessing her feelings until Igor put him in danger over a hammer. She felt she could not lose him without him knowing. She is currently learning about Orc culture and society while educating Eddie in her native culture. Currently she is engaged to Eddie by Orc custom, who is now King Alexi or Aretsi as she pronounces it due to her thick accent. Eddie is also currently engaged to fellow team member, Daisy and the daughter of the Crossbones Orc tribe. For her to be married, she is waiting for grandfather’s paperwork to come through to travel so that Eddie may have his permission. She is working with the Shinto Temple on Ft. Jackson to have a Priest come down for the wedding.

With the recent massacre on the Orc Village on the I.B.P.H. compound, Kim is helping to clean up the mess and take care of the wounded and dead. She now has a new hatred for Elves.

The following morning, Kim still in her hybrid form was still at the camp along with everyone else when the black limo showed up. They received a visit from the First Lady. Kim, still more concerned about Japanese politics, knew her by name only and did not recognize her. They were advised to get everyone back to the compound, so she complied and helped.

They were in Conference Room 2 for what seemed like forever. Kim handed her IPad to the Rabbi who was speaking on behalf of us. She had set up a folder with images that she had been documenting while they attempting to make sense of the massacre. She made the point that this was the Orc 9/11 and Nagasaki. She thinks that helped with negotiations since Mrs. Obama seemed sincere to her but the Rabbi kept saying she was hiding something. They wanted to recognize Eddie as King. Kim was getting frustrated with Eddie’s temper and tried to tell him that it is a good thing. After negotiations were done or stopped, Kim was not quite sure. They had gone outside. Eddie was stopping sniper bullets from hitting Kim and Daisy but was not able to stop it from hitting Snow Flake. Kim immediately got Snow Flake inside and began to try to treat her. Daisy and the other’s had gone after the sniper. Kim insisted on being in radio contact in case something happened. She wanted to stay behind and take care of the Worg.

Through radio contact, Kim realized they were in a trap and told Magda that she needed to leave and ran to Harbinger to let him know. They got to the hill on the property and came into the tail end of the skirmish. There was so much smoke, Kim couldn’t see so she stayed on the perimeter. Much to her angered relief, Eddie came out but without his hammer. He had an elf head attached to his hand so she assisted Eddie. Shortly there were tanks and US military. One was trying to ask her who was in charge, she pointed to Eddie but realized he couldn’t hear. The officer told her to get down, so she did and frustratingly tried to get Eddie to get down as well. After that the officer told her that they need to get out of the area, Kim tried to gather everyone to leave. The chaos and noise made it difficult for her sensitive fox ears to hear as well.

They made it back to the compound and found it destroyed. Everyone left was in the cafeteria where she left them. A different person took charge and started to organize and mark men. The Rabbi took the ones marked for death. Balgar gave up his blood to help heal the soldiers injured. Igor and Kim took a mixture of his blood and alcohol and started to give it to the soldiers. Rabbi was doing something with his Torah and everyone was healed and the dead were alive. It was after that Kim changed back in the hallway. She stayed in the cafeteria, ready to defend it if necessary. It was several hours later, she went with Daisy to check on Harbinger and could smell silver on the air. Then Julia was shot. Kim, shortly after that point found Eddie and had a breakdown in Vandal and Japanese before it turned into anger.

The military occupation has made Kim uncomfortable but they have been helpful. She was able to rebuild the temple. She was getting anxious about her grandfather coming. She was hoping he would approve but she also knew Eddie was not Japanese.

The day Kim blessed the new shrine, the compound got new visitors. Eddie went to notify Kim that her Grandfather had arrived but she was still blessing the shrine. It wasn’t until the evening she was done blessing. It was after that she noticed the new Orcs as well. She did not greet her grandfather that night to let him sleep.

The following morning, Kim found her grandfather in the cafeteria. She greeted him. He seemed pretty upset at her and demanded to meet Eddie at the Shrine. She took Eddie over to the shine. She was as nervous as Eddie was acting. She was going to respect his decision even if it was no. He took one good look at Eddie and gave Kim a disapproving look. Then he told Eddie that he needed to talk to his granddaughter alone. Eddie got upset and stated he was King Alexi of the Orcs. Kim gave him a glare and asked him to step out for a minute.

Her grandfather questioned her choice. Eddie was a huge being and he was not Japanese. She knew that was why he was questioning her. He had to make sure that’s what she wanted. She defended her love by telling him that Eddie is more Japanese than western, that he is honorable. He told her he would pray. She was concerned about what he would say. She left him to pray.

She came out and told Eddie that grandfather had to pray more. She met up with Daisy and She got ready for the meeting called by the Rabbi. It was there that she got news of the upcoming raid on the Elves and the plan. Magda informed Kim and Daisy that the wedding was at 2 in the afternoon and that she was not allowed to go on the raid. She also explained that it was important for Kim to be married at the same time. Kim asked her to look after her grandfather and that he was still praying. Kim acknowledged the importance but also explained that if her grandfather said no, that she had to respect his decision.

A half an hour before the wedding, Magda told Kim that her grandfather said it was Ok. Kim never put on a full Kimono that fast and walked briskly downstairs. The Rabbi conducted the Orc part of the wedding. It was nice and uneventful until Daisy gave Eddie her tomahawk.

His hand turned and was not healing. He was also convulsing. Kim immediately pulled the Obi-Age from under her Obi and wrapped Eddie’s hand, creating a tourniquet. Igor took over from there recognizing it as poison and Magda assisted. All of a sudden, Kim felt a void inside of her. She could hear the Kitsune laughing. All she could think of was to save Eddie. Eddie’s hand was fine but he started to shrink and lose his hearing and speech. The Hammer lost it’s power. Kim thought this was very strange. She went to try to grab his armour that he slipped out of and could not. Kim realized what had to be done and tried to help him but Eddie slipped into a rage.

Kim understood that she had to fix herself first and went immediately to the shrine and began to ask for Inari to give her the strength to get through this. Eventually she began to be in excruciating pain and after her tails grew back, she took off into the woods and hid herself. Once she came out of it and headed back, she was greeted with the site of some Orcs attacking Eddie and Eddie attacking Tank. Then the ground sunk under Eddie but he was back in his armour and was full size again. Once that fiasco was under control, she reminded him that it was time for the last part, the Shinto ceremony. Kim’s grandfather performed that for them inside the shrine away from everyone else. Then she and Eddie separated and went to sleep until the evening, until the raid time.

Once it was time to meet up, Kim saw Magda in a bite suit and just smiled. Kim chose a different selection. She carried regular arrows with iron tips, iron filled grenade tips, iron wrapped grenades, her katana and the Orc spear that Eddie gave her. She was in her new custom suit to fit her fox form.

Once they got to the trailier park, there was a copter already going down. There was a fire mage that was knocked down and dealt with by Tank. Death drove in, Rabbi, Kim and Daisy followed behind and went to the left. The three had a few skirmishes but quickly moved on. Eventually they ended up at the center trailer with Igor and Eddie. Rabbi threw something and killed all the Elves guarding the trailer. Kim was just happy it didn’t take out Eddie. Rabbi got him back into walking shape. Eddie was pretty screwed up and Kim didn’t want to know what happened. She saw Daisy head for the door. The trailer looked like a regular Winebego from the outside but Kim knew better. As she looked in the door it looked harmless but she was still on edge was not going to let Daisy go in without backup. Eventually she entered. Igor was the only one still outside.

It had the potential to be a nice place. The Queen, Mudflap and a chain up Harbinger were there. Eddie tried to throw his hammer at the Queen and she took it and was using it to hurt him. Kim froze and didn’t know to run to Eddie or try to kill the Queen. Soon enough they had Mudflap to deal with and some kind of stone creatures from the tiles. Kim was throwing grenades. Mudflap was trying to kill Eddie and Kim shot her arrow into Mudflap hurting him. Some strange things started to happen. Kim could only assume it was Igor affecting their reality inside. The Queen was creating a shield that was finally destroyed. She disappeared. Kim tended to Eddie while Daisy tended to Harbinger. Kim helped get him out. They all ran, the trailer park was collapsing on itself.

When Kim got back, her grandfather decided to stay and take care of her shrine. She was happy to have him but she could only wonder what Eddie would think of this. She’ll let him figure it out. Maybe Magda would tell him. She knows that her grandfather makes him nervous. Kim is also grateful to Magda for her support. Kim grew her fifth tail. It's getting a little crazy and Kim is annoyed that she adjust more clothing again. She just wonders if anyone is counting. But now she can relax and actually take care of things. She assists with the building of the new Orc Village. Seeing Magda pregnant is giving Kim baby envy.
