The Paladin – Prestige ClassWarriors of faith, the Paladin take the fight to evil and confront it on its home turf. Neither faith nor combat ability alone makes a Paladin. It is the special blending of both with a small dash of insanity that makes the Paladin truly dangerous. A sane man runs from evil screaming, the Paladin looks evil in the eye with a quip on his lips and weapon in hand he means evil head on.

Prerequisites:True Faith Feat and the ability to perform faith based magic. Wisdom score of 16, Constitution score of 13, Strength score of 13, Base Attack bonus of +4 Weapon Proficient in at least 1 Melee weapon, and Weapon Focus in melee weapon of choice; this weapon will become the Paladins Holy Weapon.

Class Features:Holy Weapon: A melee weapon that becomes an extension of the Paladin’s faith. When wielded by the paladin this weapon deals its normal weapon damage plus the modifier granted by its level. It also causes doubt damage to any creature attacked that is evil in nature.
Holy unnatural immune system: The paladin is immune to all mundane disease and ages at a slower rate of one quarter the aging process. He is immune to Lycanthropy, zombie plague, and vampirism curse. He is resistant but not immune to curses and other magic based disease, adding his paladin level to all saves vs. these curses.
Unnerving resolve: Can make an intimidation check vs. any creature of evil as long as he is able to present a symbol of his faith. Cause them to cower away from the Paladin. They will attack if pressed but will otherwise try to escape the Paladin’s presence.
Sense Evil: The Paladin can sense the presence and later then direction of evil within 60 ft + 20 ft per level of paladin.
Holy Aura: The Paladin is a walking beacon of light and hope; those within 30 feet of him are granted a morale bonus to all save throws versus any mind effecting saving throws.

Speak only the truth: The Paladin if he swears and oath to another that he will speak only the truth to them by his faith; he can complete them to do the same. This oath is binding and to break this oath will cause the Paladin to instantly loss his fifth level of paladin. The target of the oath is allowed a will save versus a DC of 10 + any and all wisdom based class levels + the Paladin’s wisdom modifier. If the target fails his saving throw he is compelled to speak only the truth in the Paladin’s presence. If the target fails to tell the truth he is wracked with terrible pain -6 to all checks, attacks, and can only move at a crawl till he speaks the truth.
